I realised I could go on for hours about how perfect the first season is.
Perfect character development (in six thirty-minute episodes!) and actually some deep shit that at first might seem like just a gag or a joke, but actually when you start thinking about it, WHOA (like the religion joke? WHOA MAN. SERIOUSLY.)
And Cat is so different later on, in the first series he’s a lot funnier and very different from the rest, and later he gets more…humany
Guuuuhhhhhhh I feel bad for liking it, as if I were saying it’s better before Kryten, but then
I thought that’s not the case, ‘cause when Kryten joins the crew, it’s still pretty good
So I realised, it’s at the point when they lose Red Dwarf that it starts getting worse. It’s just not the same without the rooms and corridors and everything and they have so little room on Starbug.
